Spelt crackers
Ingredients
¼ tsp Himalayan salt
2 tsp Tupelo honey
½ C. cold water
1 ½ C. spelt flour
Preparation
Preheat oven 350º. Dissolve salt and honey in ½ cup of water. Stir in the flour and knead the dough until a ball forms. Allow dough to rest for about an hour. Line a 12 x 17 inch cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the dough as thin as possible. The thinner the dough, the more like crackers it will taste. You can roll out the cracker dough directly on the parchment paper lined baking sheet. Score the dough into a grid pattern and prick with a fork. Bake at 350º 10 -15 minutes until golden. Break into pieces and serve.
