Cooking all foods yourself without using any canned, bottled or prepared substances, is greatly instrumental in eating healthier. Couple this with seeking out locally grown seasonal non-GMO (non genetically engineered) produce that is picked at its peak of ripeness, all helps maintain cystic organ health. With some dietary and lifestyle changes many have experienced diminished symptoms, including pain and bloating. Starting the day with warm water and freshly squeezed lemon juice assists this. Anything to help maintain the integrity of your DNA is instrumental in opening the door to health.

Most fruits and vegetables are alkaline. There are some exceptions.  In addition to animal proteins causing a shift toward an acidic urinary pH, the second culprit is sugar. So far the only usable sweetener seems to be tupelo honey, dates, bananas and cinnamon. Foods prepared with any other concentrated sugar causes urinary pH to swing toward acidic, a secondary rise in cholesterol, and oftentimes will trigger the onset of a migraine headache.
